Job Description
Position Overview:
Support multiple customers during project lifecycle by ongoing matrix and complex team/task management, coupled with exploring new technologies, improving processes and standards, and troubleshooting, in order to bring efficiency to Infra and company. Looking out for Infra next generation in resources and tools.
Key responsibilities
- Independently performing and leading complex Infra team/tasks in matrix environment with diverse variety of tasks/challenges.
- Planning, designing, programming and implementing Infra utilities/activities in account or cross-account support (automated or manual)
- Analyze monitoring results, control troubleshoot processes on a technical and managerial level
- Ongoing learning of new product functionality business perspective impact, alignment and close interaction with R&D,cascading the knowledge to the team at the level of documentation, sessions, tools and processes implications
- Providing Integration/CC (Configuration Control)/MW (middleware) professional guidance and coaching to project management and development teams and implementation groups as well as customer architects – internal and external customers, including stakeholders without Infra understanding
- Leading quality assurance of team’s deliverables: Reviewing Infra code/scripts to meet KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and SLA (Service Level Agreement), and initiating LL (Lessons Learned)/RCAs (Root Cause Analysis) and sharing results
- Providing infra support to internal and external customers through high-standard deliverables, following company methodology (in some cases defining the methodology and guidelines)
- Performing risk analysis and suggesting the optimal solution or providing mitigation plan
- Monitoring, analyzing and resolving middleware performance issues by adjusting performance configuration of middleware, third-party SW (e.g. WebLogic, WebSphere, Tuxedo)
- Designing, developing, configuring and administering large installations of middleware, third-party SW (e.g. WebLogic, WebSphere, Tuxedo), including Production environments
- Investigating new infrastructure technologies to meet business requirements
- Building team knowledge capabilities and professional development, focusing on innovations and opportunities for saving
- Recognized authority in his domain, technology guru with advanced skills and vast knowledge, leading major architectural challenges and technical strategy developments, provide cost efficient E2E reusable solutions, represent SBG in technical forums, serve as ultimate level of consultations for critical showstopper incidents in Productions customers systems.
Critical Experiences
7-8 years of relevant experience:
- Experience as Integration Engineer in different stages of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Automation
- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux Server platform
- Deep understanding of the middleware technologies (WebLogic, WebSphere, IBM Mq Series, Oracle Tuxedo) and basic database technologies
- Experience with CC (Configuration Control) tools
Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
